Founded on family vacation to Thailand, Tun Sa-Mai is more than just jewelry to the Matinchek family. Throughout the years, mother and daughter, Amy and Alicia, have sought fashionable chakra jewelry and yoga jewelry. While immersed in the Buddhist culture, the two found peace and saw this as a way to bring that peace back home. When the opportunity presented itself, the two designed their first line of jewelry.

Tun Sa-Mai (Thai word meaning fashionable) has incorporated three generations of family, bringing them together to design, produce, and navigate the ins and outs of international business.
